Flowood native Bucky Stewart has an incredibly healthy story that began a few years back. Although his health story didn’t begin with Super Shakes, he has successfully used Super Shakes to continue and maintain his healthy lifestyle.

“In January 2012, I weighed about 265 pounds and I’m 5,7”, so I was as big around as I was tall,” said Bucky. “I got into a boot camp and a running group and, within a couple of years, had lost about 100 pounds.”

A working lawyer for many years, Bucky works in Madison Country and drives over the Spillway for his commute. Because of this, he is a frequent customer at two different Super Shakes locations, the original Super Shakes drive thru at the Reservoir and also the Super Shakes at Township. According to Bucky, the drive-thru at the Reservoir is perfect for a breakfast Super Shake or a Super Shake on the way home from work. He also loves to swing by the Township location for breakfast or a mid-day snack and energy boost.

“Even though I had already done my deal, gotten healthy, and lost a good bit of weight before Super Shakes through dieting and exercise, they have really been a part of my routine since,” said Bucky. “Sometimes maintaining a healthy lifestyle and weight can get monotonous and it’s a delicious drink without all the guilt for me- without the guilt of something that is 500 or 600 calories.”

His favorite Super Shakes is always a Super Charge combination.

“At age 47 and in my legal career and life, I like that shot of 250 mg of caffeine that comes with the Super Charge formula. I don’t drink coffee so Super Shakes is usually what gets me going for breakfast,” said Bucky. “I like the chocolate peanut butter flavor with an added scoop of peanut butter or the pb&j flavor with added strawberry flavoring and a scoop of peanut butter. Come to think of it, I also like the butterfinger flavor with added strawberry flavoring and an added scoop of peanut butter, too.”

A loyal customer now for many years, Bucky is utilizing Super Shakes to continue his health journey and doesn’t see that changing in the future. In fact, he said so himself.

“Super Shakes has a loyal following of customers. A lot of times when I’m at the Township location, and I am there everyday, I see some of the same people day in and day out also ordering,” said Bucky. “They have a lot of repeat customers, but I’m not surprised by it. They (owners Jason and Taylor) are good guys and their staff is good people, too; I trust them there.”
